Walking down Canal Bagh, a busy commercial street in Lahore, I spotted this woman sitting on the steps of her house, with her goat and her cat. I showed her my camera and gestured "Can I take your photo". She didn't move, didn't react, just gently nodded. I took the photo, walked up to her to show her the back of my screen and she gently waived me away. I thanked here and walked on. For me being able to capture that old woman sitting silently on the doorstep was a "decisive" moment. So much poignancy in a frame.
